About Jena

Jena was an accounting professional in Corporate America for nearly 17 years. When the stress of 75-hour workweeks became overwhelming, she began studying mind-body practices, seeking more balance in life. Her knowledge grew over many years of study, and she is certified in Holistic Stress Management and as a Yoga and Nia Instructor. She also leads meditation and Qi Gong, and is the creator of  Chi-gaTM and Multi-Dimensional MovementTM.

Yoga focuses on physical alignment, breath, and mindfulness. Nia is a combination of dance, martial arts, and yoga. Qi Gong is mindful, meditative movement of Qi (“chi”), energy, which originated in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chi-ga combines Qi Gong and yoga, with a focus on the chakras. Multi-Dimensional movement is mindful cardio, combining yoga with easy-to-follow, low-impact dance.

Jena’s passion is simplifying mind-body movement for people of all ages, abilities, and belief systems, helping them understand that they don’t have to wait “until” – until they’re more fit, more flexible, more confident, more calm, more ANYthing – but that they can start wherever they are today and move forward from here toward a life that feels better ~ more fulfilling, more satisfying, more authentic, more balanced.
