Holistic wellness focuses on the WHOLE being—body, mind, and spirit. Imbalance in any one area can make life seem more stressful, more frustrating, less rewarding, and just generally more difficult. In contrast, bringing balance to all three areas can make life seem much easier and more satisfying—events seem to flow more smoothly, relationships improve, and situations that may have previously been annoying lose their edge.

A lot of information is available on these subjects. So much so that finding the “truth” can be complicated and confusing. Many people wonder if they will ever figure out how to meditate, which exercise is best for them, how long and how intense exercise should be, whether they’re choosing the right foods… the list goes on and on. And to further complicate matters, the answers are often quite different for each person.

That’s where Holistic Moves comes in. We help demystify many viewpoints, give clients space to breathe and grow, and help them create a sense of well-being and balance in body, mind, and spirit. In our lectures and workshops, participants can explore a wide variety of topics including stress management, nutrition, better sleep, weight management, confidence, meditation, lifestyle, and movement (including Nia, yoga, Qi Gong, T’ai Chi, and dance). We also offer individual and group classes focusing exclusively on movement, for people who are looking for mind-body exercise to round out their holistic lifestyle.
